FOR the NEW 2019+ HSC English course, this exam is written by experienced HSC markers and teachers. It is designed to be an authentic experience of English Paper 1 paper for Standard students. It examines the Common Module: Texts and Human Experiences. It includes a full Stimulus Booklet with the texts used for Section 1, marking guidelines and sample answers for all the short answer questions. It provides excellent preparation for the HSC Standard Paper 1 and assessment tasks.

Two versions of the paper are available: Word and PDF. The Word version is designed for schools, tutors and teachers as it is copyrighted for use with multiple students. It can be printed and easily adapted. The cheaper PDF version MUST NOT be purchased for any type of instruction by any type of educator including, but not limited to, teachers, schools and tutors. PDFs are cheaper and the full writer royalty has been generously relinquished by writers as we support student initiated revision. They are ONLY for ONE student's personal use. PDFs are screen versions only and cannot be printed or edited. It is illegal for any type of educator to buy a PDF and it will not be supported by TEC.

Hard to Beat for the Price

I purchased these for a business trip to Italy and wore them daily for the two weeks that I was there, during which I walked extensively. For me, there was a break-in period of a few days; before it loosens up, it will bite your heel, so I recommend wearing bandages or heel pads initially. Following the break-in, it's a very comfortable shoe and has served me well. I purchased a wide, and for this shoe, I found the width agreeable; in my experience, Cole Haan wide widths tend to be hit or miss (i.e., a wide is sometimes not all that wide). In terms of durability, I would not expect these to remain in good condition for more than a year if you wear them daily. The leather is not of high quality, but it's acceptable for the price. Expect them to crease very quickly if not using shoe trees. That doesn't bother me, but I know some find it objectionable. All in all, I like them and would buy them again. It's a comfortable alternative to traditional dress shoes for the office and works equally well for casual wear. Most higher quality options cost at least two or three times as much, and many are unavailable in a wide.
