Today, we've got this special 00 Concert with hand-selected woods from our team here at Russo Music. High-quality woods and specifications at every turn make this Custom Expert a delight on every level.

This Martin Custom Expert acoustic guitar begins with a 00 Grand Concert body brought together from a spruce top and two-piece premium flamed mahogany back and sides – the latter of which were hand-selected by our team. A classic combo of Martin tonewoods, these top-shelf woods introduce a rich and reverent Martin tone throughout the smaller-scaled 00 concert body. A gloss body finish with an Ambertone 1933 color makes for an overall impressive visual sum on the couch or under stage lights.

Within, this Custom Expert features Martin's Golden Era hand-shaped scalloped spruce braces in an X-Brace pattern. This feature breathes lush life into the smaller-scaled body for a guitar that punches well above its weight class in terms of projection and tonal nuance. The model's whole body additionally features a less-than-traditional shape with its 12-Fret design that meets the neck at the twelfth fret for a different angle on playability.

Here, this Custom Expert brings on a select hardwood neck in a Martin Modified V profile. Meeting the body through dovetail neck joint construction with Martin's Modern Adhesive, again at the twelfth fret, this neck offers a unique feel in the palm with its angular "V"-shape profile and satin finish. The neck's High Performance Taper adds up for enhanced playability at higher or lower registers. An oiled black ebony fingerboard joins here with nineteen Standard-sized frets for a comfortable feel on the fingers and an understated aesthetic.

To maintain a sturdy playing feel, this Martin Custom Expert features a number of solid specifications for playability. For one, the base of the scale's Golden Era Modern Belly black ebony bridge grounds strings stably for a solid transfer of motion. Toward the scale's opposite end, a bone nut and Golden Age 2501B tuning machines land at another one of this guitar's showstoppers – its slotted headstock. Breaking from usual Martin tradition with its unconventional headstock style, this custom build model compounds even greater style and uniqueness.

Aesthetically, this Martin Custom clears the goalposts and just keeps going with a number of other features. On its flamed mahogany back, HD Zig Zag purfling lines up for a smaller, highly detailed Martin signature. Style 28 appointments continue on from there with a Boltaron rosette and dot inlays for something infinitely classy and classic.
