OUTSTANDING QUALITIES

  • LARGE, UNIFORM FRUIT
  • HEALTHY PRODUCTIVE PLANTS
  • INDUSTRY STANDARD FOR PROCESSING BUTTERNUT
  • VERY GOOD YIELD POTENTIAL
  • RELIABILITY

Atlas F1 hybrid is a Cucurbita moschata type butternut bearing large fruit with excellent fruit qualities. Atlas is widely adapted for planting in all growing regions and the overall vigour of this variety tends to make it less susceptible to diseases. Yield potential is very good. Fruit set is excellent and covers a long bearing season. Fruit shape is similar to that of Waltham and fruit weigh between 2 000 – 3 000 g in summer. Atlas is also well adapted for cooler season harvests as fruit are smaller and suitable for the fresh market. Flavour is considered excellent with improved colour and high sugars. The flesh texture is very firm and the rind is very smooth. The rind colour is tan when mature. The mature fruit has an excellent shelf life. The fruit is used as traditional butternut however the superior flesh quality makes Atlas ideal for processing. This is the variety of choice for most processors.

SPECIAL VARIETAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Do not over-fertilize with nitrogen, especially close to fruit maturity. We suggest only 90kg per ha over the growing season
  • Ideal plant population is 10 000 – 12 000 plants per hectare. We do not recommend more than 15 000 plants per hectare
  • Irrigation in the afternoon is not recommended.

Soft!
Color: Peach Fuzz
These socks for dry heels are wonderful. I purchased a balm for my feet and these help it soak in over night. They have a gel liner in the heel which is soft. The first few nights I could. Feel the socks just because I wasn't used to it but after a few wears I can't tell I have them on. Love them and seem to be helping my heels.

Soft heels, here I come!
Color: Blue Haven
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I bought these for my 16-year-old daughter, and she loves them. They’re super soft and cozy, and they’ve really helped with dry heels. The moisturizing lining works great, and her feet feel noticeably smoother after wearing them. She even wears them around the house because they’re comfortable, not bulky or slippery. Great quality and a fun little self-care item — definitely a win! I even bought myself and my mom a pair!

Works well if you wear them every day
Color: Lavender Luxury, Color: Lavender Luxury
These heel socks do work, but you need to be consistent and patient. The socks are soft with a gel lining on the inside that basically traps your body heat and moisture—kind of like a mini spa for your feet. My heels felt noticeably softer after just one hour of wearing them. That said, I don’t love sleeping with socks on, so it took me two nights to get used to them. I even took them off the first night because I couldn’t stand the feeling. After five nights of use with nightly exfoliating, my heels are definitely softer, but still cracked in some areas. I’m hoping they keep improving with continued use. If you stick with it and exfoliate regularly, these socks definitely help soften rough skin. Not a miracle fix overnight, but a helpful tool for healing cracked heels.
