The Recon 10ft with propeller drive is the complete electronics-ready fishing kayak that fits in your car boot and stores in your apartment. Built-in transducer mount for your fish finder. Instant reverse for precise positioning in current. 10ft hull for efficient open-water tracking. And still a two-section modular design with no roof rack required.

Electronics ready out of the box. The built-in transducer mount recess lets you install a compatible transducer without drilling. Route the wiring through the scupper holes, position your fish finder unit behind the seat, and you have a complete electronics rig from day one.

Instant reverse for tactical positioning. The propeller drive system gives you full forward and reverse control with your feet. Hold position in tidal current, back away from structure, and maneuver in tight spots — all while keeping both hands free to fish.

Still modular. Still fits everywhere. Two sections. Fits in a car boot. Stores in an apartment. No roof rack, no wall brackets, no garage. The Recon Prop Drive gives you a capable, electronics-ready fishing platform without any of the transport or storage trade-offs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose the Recon Prop Drive over the Recon Fin Drive?
If you fish in current, near docks, or in saltwater where tidal flow matters, the instant reverse of the prop drive is a real advantage. If you fish shallow flats and want maximum stealth, go for the fin drive. Both have the same transducer mount and hull.

What fish finders are compatible with the Recon's transducer mount?
The transducer recess accepts a transducer puck — check the mount dimensions (X = 1.77\", Y = 2.16\", C = 0.82\") against your chosen transducer manufacturer's specs. Lowrance, Garmin, and Humminbird puck transducers are commonly used by Recon owners.

Will it fit in my car without a roof rack?
Yes. The two-section design keeps each piece compact enough for most mid-size car boots without external racks or straps.

If the set screws were white the shelves would be perfect.
Color: C. White - Modern Minimalist Style, Number Of Shelves: 3, Size: 15.7inches
I'd give 4 1/2 if there was one. The shelves thwmself are nice I just don't like the visible little black set screws. The shelves themself look great and are not wobbly at all if you install correctly. I purposely installed the bracket upside down because of the little black setting screws; I didnt want them showing because the shelves are above eye level and the screws are black and I didn't want them showing. But that made the shelf lean amd wobbly so I turned them back over the way they are supposed to be and that made them level and sturdy. I guess I'll paint the little screws.

The floating shelves are great
Size: 24"W, 2P, Color: White
I finally found a complete set of Japanese tea cups. I had bought 2 in Canada at Sypson and Sears. I had went to visit my family in British Columbia. But I couldn't find the rest of the set. I finally found the rest. My son-in-law installed the four shelves. They look nice and work great.

They're ok.
Size: 36"W, 2P, Color: White
The shelves are good but the wall brackets need more varied hole spacing, and the holes on the shelves for the bracket arms are loose so even screwed in they move a little bit.
