La densità di 2 colori fornisce una colorazione tabacco inferiore rispetto alla densità di 3, ma maggiore rispetto al filtro di densità di 1.

Questo filtro è realizzato utilizzando la tecnologia ColorCore, un processo che prevede la laminazione del substrato del filtro tra 2 pezzi di vetro ottico, la levigatura piana con una tolleranza di 1/10,000 di pollice e il montaggio su anelli metallici di precisione. È compatibile con i portafiltri della Serie 9.
