Step-by-Step Instructions: Your Guide to Flawless Nails

Follow these simple steps to achieve a professional Gel-X® manicure at home:

1. Prep the Natural Nail
Push back cuticles and use a green stone bit (or cuticle pusher) to remove loose skin. Gently buff the entire nail surface to remove shine, then wipe thoroughly with alcohol to remove all debris.

2. Size the Tips
Select Gel-X® tips that fit snugly from sidewall to sidewall. If needed, gently file the base of the tip to better fit your cuticle area.

3. Etch the Tips
Apply Gel-X® Prep to the inside (underside) of the Gel-X® tip. Continue applying until the logo disappears and the surface appears matte.

4. Apply Bonders
Apply pH Bonder (dehydrator) to the natural nail, followed by a non-acidic gel primer.

5. Apply Extend Gel
Apply a thin layer of Extend Gel to the natural nail and cure for 30 seconds.

6. Attach the Tip
Apply a small bead of Extend Gel to the etched area of the tip. Place the tip at a 45-degree angle at the cuticle, gently lowering it down to the free edge to avoid air bubbles.

7. Flash Cure
While holding the tip firmly in place, flash cure for 15-30 seconds using your handheld Gold Omni Light.

8. Final Cure
Once all nails are attached, cure your entire hand in a full-sized LED lamp for 30-60 seconds.

9. Finish
Gently buff the surface of the tips for smoother polish application (if desired). Finish with Gel Couleur or your Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat for a stunning, long-lasting shine.
