Appearance

Deep, rich ruby — the unmistakable colour of wild Black Forest sloe berries macerated in Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin. Unfiltered and unapologetically natural.

Aroma

The wild sloe berry character leads — dark fruit, a hint of almond, and the subtle bittersweet complexity of Prunus spinosa — woven through the familiar 47-botanical complexity of the Schwarzwald Dry Gin beneath. Rich, layered, and distinctly of the Black Forest.

Palate

Complex and distinctive, with the wild sloe berries adding a bittersweet depth and dark fruit richness that complements the 47 botanicals of the base gin beautifully. Unique in its complexity, with the nativeness of the Black Forest evident in every sip. The finish is long, fruited, and deeply satisfying.

Serving Suggestions

Exceptional served chilled and neat as a digestif, or over ice with premium tonic and a twist of orange. A natural base for a Sloe Gin Fizz or a richly fruited Negroni variation. A gin of this character deserves a glass that gives it room to breathe.
