Cultivation and propagation: Euphorbia esculenta is an easy species to grow that is suited for any well drained soil in full sun. It is cultivated as an ornamental, and is a particular favorite of succulent plant enthusiasts.

Growing rate: It is a relatively slow growing and long lived plant and once established, it will be content in its position and with its soil for years.

Soil and pots: It likes deep pot with generous drain holes to accommodate its tap root, needs a very airy potting medium very permeable to water which mainly consists of nonorganic material such us clay, pumice, lava grit, expanded slate and only a little peat or leaf-mold. Re-pot every two years.

Exposure: It can tolerate moderate shade, and a plant that has been growing in shade should be slowly hardened off before placing it in full sun as the plant will be severely scorched if moved too suddenly from shade into sun.

Watering: Water regularly during the active growing season. No water should ever be allowed to stand around the roots. Keep almost completely dry in winter. However this spurge will tolerate dryness and can even thrives in poor, dry soils, but do better when grown in nutrient-rich soils with regular watering.

Hardiness: Some cold tolerance. This spurge has tolerated temperatures down to -6º C and even a little snow. However, it can be difficult to get it to look its best without a good amount of heat and sun (USDA Zones 8-11)

Known hazards: As with all other Euphorbias when a plant get damaged it exudes a thick white milky sap known as latex. This latex is poisonous, and may irritate skin. Pay extreme attention not to get any in your eyes or mouth. Cultivated plants must be handled carefully.

Xylimelts
Have been using for years. So glad they have these without the mint. Just wish they lasted longer at night but they do the job. Taste is pleasant and they are easy to use.

Dry Mouth Relief
Having been using these for quite awhile now for a severe dry mouth. They really help to make the mouth create saliva, thus protecting the teeth from erosion, etc. They are discs with a dark side which is placed above the teeth on the gum. It will stick there in a minute or two and remains in place until it melts and disappears. I use two at night and have never had a problem with them coming loose, this creating a choking hazard. They remain i place and melt. Sometimes I wake at night and my mouth is dry, so put a couple more in and I'm good to go until morning. I would recommend these to anyone with a dry mouth. There is no bad taste. They are somewhat expensive when using long term, but worth it to me. Have not found them locally, although Walmart has them online...same price or a little more than Amazon. Will continue to buy from these sellers.

If you have dry mouth, these are a fantastic option!!
I am a pharmacist, so I have come across and used a lot of different products to try to treat the chronic dry mouth problem that I have. This is by far the BEST product I have come across. They are a bit expensive, but I consider them worth the cost. You place the disc in your mouth, on your gum, and it adheres to the gum. The product lasts for a good hour for me. I use them when I go to sleep, to help avoid dry mouth and drainage down my throat when going to sleep. I use 2 when I go to bed, and sometimes have to wake up in the middle of the night to use 2 more. But I love them!! A similar product is OraMoist, but that product turns to a gel-like goo that I found very distasteful. Biotene is highly advertised, but absolutely useless for my problem. It made my throat scratchy and made me cough. Use this product instead!!

Always keep them at hand
After radiation I was left with compromised saliva production and these Xylimelts really help. I use one any time I feel my mouth becoming dry, when I’m going to do any sort of physical activity, when the weather is hot, after eating astringent foods or drinks - because the taste is very mild you can even keep one in your mouth while eating or drinking. They agreed really, really well out of sight on my gum line. I always put one in at night before sleep as I’m pretty sure they cut down on the dry throat that can lead to snoring. I have a pack in each purse, glove compartment, gym bag and pre-load several packs in my luggage so they’re always available. One of those little things that makes life easier and more pleasant. I’m overjoyed I survived cancer, but there have been changes after the fact. Xylimelts make at least one a whole lot easier to bear

Bowlby brilliantly exposes his new methodology
Format: Paperback
This book is a classic in attachment. It points to the beggining of the cientification of psychoanalysis. Bowlby brilliantly exposes his new methodology, influenced by ethology, but keeps Freud's ideas as his theoretical frame. Besides, it brings a foreword by Allan Schore, who went farther than Bowlby, thanks to the development of contemporary neuroscience. I strongly recommend it for those interested in mother-baby early communication.
