The AGB200 boasts a full linden body construction touted in a Black Flat satin finish with accented aged white binding. The semi-hollow construction allows for a resonant, full bass tone when plugged or unplugged, sustaining appropriately for all styles of music. Supplying additional resonance is the Gibraltar III Bass bridge, and the Quik Change III Bass tailpiece allows for easy string changes. A 3-piece nyatoh/maple neck is attached to the body which lends to the rich mid-low end that sings within the instrument. Affixed to the neck is a rosewood fingerboard to provide a well-balanced tone across the short 30.3" scale length. Lined with 22 medium sized frets and guided with white dot inlays, the AGB200 is a comfortable and reliable instrument for supplying low-end support in any performance.
Amplifying the instrument are a set of Ibanez Classic Elite Bass humbucker pickups. Found in the neck and bridge positions, these pickups supply a weighted punch that doesn't skimp on the low-end while maintaining an articulate crispness for attacks and upper registers. Controlled with a volume and tone knobs, and altered with a 3-way pickup selector, it's never been more simple to dial in expressive, powerful tones.
