To close the unit, simply roll it like a burrito, fasten the G-hook onto one of the external loops, and pull the nylon strap tight. MOLLE system on the exterior provides options for storage and expansion.

Not sure if these are truely 14 guage.

I think that the wire is good quality, but I wound up using some wire that I already had after stripping some of this back and then comparing it with my old 14 gauge wire. I did not get out a caliper and measure it, but by feel and visual comparison it did not seem to be as heavy as my old wire.
