Need to go farther? This direct replacement tank holds 47 gallons versus the OEM capacity of 24 gallons. This tank holds 5 gallons more than competitors allowing you to get where you need to go without wasting time stopping for fuel. Included is all the components to remove and replace your tank into the stock location using the included straps. The tank occupies the space forward (2.4 inches) and rearward (32.5 inches) of the original tank.
Even with more fuel on board, your fuel gauge will remain accurate thanks to S&B’s tank design. The gauge will stay on full for the first 5-7 gallons, but then continue to move as normal. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, @ 20mpg and a full tank (47 gallons), you will have 940 miles to empty but your vehicle will show you have 480 miles to empty.
These tanks are built to last and are made out of extremely strong crosslink polyethylene.

Installation
Notes
- This tank will NOT fit 170" Crew Vans or 144" Dually Vans, part # 10-1026 will work for the 170" Crew Vans and 144" Dually Vans. This tank will also not work with vans that have ride height sensors connected to the rear axle, please see important note C on the instructions.
- Do you have an Auxiliary Fuel Tank? Read why using these with our tanks will void the Lifetime Warranty.
- When using the auxiliary fuel tap on stock tanks, tap stops pulling fuel around 1/4 tank. With the S&B Tank, it will stop pulling fuel around 1/3-1/2 tank.
- Important: The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap).
Warranty
Diesel Fuel Tanks
S&B replacement fuel tanks have a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser. If there is a problem with an S&B tank related to defect, materials or workmanship, S&B will replace it. All terms of the S&B Million Mile Limited Warranty also apply to S&B fuel tanks. Damage to an S&B fuel tank resulting from improper installation or use will not be covered by this warranty.
