Cooking Method:
Thawing: Remove the Vietnam Venus Clams from the freezer and let them thaw in the refrigerator overnight or for about 6-8 hours. For quicker thawing, place the sealed clam package in cold water for 1-2 hours.
Cooking:
- Grilling: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the clams in an aluminum foil pouch with a splash of white wine, garlic, and butter. Seal the pouch and grill for 5-7 minutes until the clams open up.
- Steaming: Place the clams in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam for 5-7 minutes until the clams open.
- Sautéing: Heat a pan over medium heat with a splash of oil. Add the clams and cook for 5-7 minutes until the clams open.
- Boiling for Soup: Bring a pot of water or broth to a boil. Add the clams and boil for 5-7 minutes until the clams open. Add vegetables and seasonings to create a flavorful clam soup.
