Though generally the Jazzette outfits traditionally with an 12x18 bass drum, Ludwig did offer custom sizes and the 14x18 bass drum was one of those offerings at the time. The lugs and other hardware are in great shape showing very little signs of wear. This kit sings, and sounds wonderful at higher "bop" tunings. The 3 ply shells have painted interiors and re enforcement

This Ludwig "Jazzette" style drum set is in very good condition for its age. The lugs and other hardware are in great shape showing very little signs of wear. This kit sings, and sounds wonderful at higher "bop" tunings. The 3-ply shells have painted interiors and re-enforcement rings. The blue sparkle wrap has some dings and a few scratches, but is otherwise in solid cosmetic condition for its age.

From our research due to the date stamps not being present and some mismatched serials, this kit was pieced together with period accurate hardware and had repainted interiors. Though not a true "born together" drum set, it sounds excellent and is a wonderful player grade "jazzette-esque" kit.
