These rappelling straps will take the place of the non existing sternal web loop. Features: These retrofit rappelling straps feature a double layered stitched eye on one end and a web loop on the other. The web loop allows the rappelling strap to be girth hitched to the harness to retrofit it.

Features:

  • These retrofit rappelling straps feature a double-layered stitched eye on one end and a web loop on the other. The web loop allows the rappelling strap to be girth hitched to the harness to retrofit it.
  • Rappelling loop style ‘A1’ retro is to be used for self-rescue only. Rappelling loop style ‘A1’ retro is not to be used for hurt-man rescue.
  • This product is designed to be used by a person with a maximum weight of 420 lbs. when fully equipped.

I will caution the purchase of “used like-new,” as both of the dividers I ordered were previously returned items, and one came missing a cap, instructions were not included, and the poles were all mixed up and not properly labeled. If I had not ordered a second divider (which did include the instructions) I would have had a much harder time figuring out which pieces were which and how to put them together.
