Built for riders who want nimble reactivity for quick turns in the trees and the power to hold an edge while bouncing through variable snow, the Katana AW is equally suited for veteran riders or anyone who wants to take their riding to the next level.
- ASYMWRAP A game changer of a chassis that revolutionized the idea of connected-comfort. The AsymWrap heelhoop features three connection points to the base allowing for a surfy ride, plenty of board feel, without sacrificing tweak or edge-to-edge response.
- AUXTECH® Hinged patterns for next level connected-comfort. A Rome first innovation, AuxTech® is a game changing pattern we use in our ankle and toe straps. Auxetic Patterns are geometric patterns that become thicker perpendicularly when stretched. Essentially a network of tiny hinges that expand evenly when pressure is applied. Best in the game surface area pressure distribution and connected comfort, that’s AuxTech®
- OMNIFLEX ANKLE STRAP The next generation of AuxTech® powered connected comfort comes in the form of our most responsive ankle straps. A solid state overmolded design engages with a TPU spine to perfectly blend responsive torsional flex and edge to edge power.
- PROGRIP TOE STRAP with AuxTech®, ProGrip Toe Straps provide next level, locked-in hold and grip
- HEELHOOPAdjustable forged Aluminum heelhoop for lightweight strength and Durability.
- PIVOTMOUNT A Rome exclusive innovation, PivotMounts allow you to adjust the position of the ankle strap on your boot with 8 different locations per side of the strap. The higher the strap sits on your boot, the more locked-in and powerful the feel, the lower the strap sits on the boot, the more playful and surfier ride
- DURACUSH™ SubBase Padding, an ultra-comfortable material. This unique E-TP is hyper resistant to cold temps meaning you get the same impact absorption and smooth ride, no matter the temp.
