This Special Edition is also inspired by another fictional character whose movie exploits has provided us with high entertainment value throughout the years. This is "The Red Beanie of Adventure".
Our watch caps are a direct descendant from this style of cold weather headwear issued to USN Sailors, Seabees, Merchant Marines and other service members during WWII, and in the decades to follow. The A.G. Watch Cap DRB Team Z Edition is made in a premium grade, soft, machine wash dry, 100% merino sourced from an American supplier. Unlike other knit beanies being made in the USA today, which are simply tubes sewn closed at one end. Ours are a true fully shaped and knitted process produced on state of the art, computer controlled knitting machines based in California.

While the original USN issue stands on its own we created our updated and upgraded interpretation, that is a highly versatile 2+ season weight, superior comfort, easy care, and possess that timeless, and classic appearance. The A.G. Watch Cap DRB Team Z is the high standard in American made beanies and will be a goto staple in anyone's wardrobe during cooler to cold months. Available in a colorful red marl.

Fit and comfort

These have to rate as equal to any shoes I've ever owned. I know everyone's foot is shaped differently but when I slipped my feet into these I was immediately sure I had made the correct choice. Sizing is true. You note, I'm sure, that these are slip-on shoes. My experience with slip-ons has been mixed as sometimes the heel tends to slip due to the maker leaving room for the slip-on function to take place. When I got these I discovered that the opening for my feet was so tight I needed to shoe-horn them in and it wasn't particularly easy. The heel counter was "high and tight" but once I got my feet in the shoes it was heaven. Then, after a couple of days wearing them I can now slip my feet into these slip-ons with ease and the shoes grip my feet like a lace-up shoe can do. I have one other pair of Cole Haans in the same size 12. They are also a wonderful fit for me. I highly recommend.
