Organic ingredients of: coconut oil, beeswax, lanolin, castor oil, lavender oil, lanolin alcohol, menthol, eucalyptus oil, carnauba wax, vitamin E, cedarwood oil, nutmeg oil, wild crafted murunga (kakadu plum), bach flower remedies: white chestnut, clematis, cherry plum, rock rose, love & hugs.
The good stuff:
Organic Coconut Oil
Like coconuts themselves, coconut oil is rich in essential fats. These fats are thought to keep skin healthy and rejuvenated, both internally and externally. Coconut oil is traditionally used as an emollient to moisturize and nourish the skin. We adore coconut oil and use it in many of our products.
Organic Beeswax
We only use natural organic beeswax in our products. Beeswax forms a protective barrier on the skin to guard against irritants and lock in moisture. Unlike ingredients made from petroleum, beeswax doesn’t suffocate the skin and won’t clog the pores. Bees are amazing and are in great danger around the world. Bees are not harmed during this process of the removal of the wax. We adore and respect our bees!
Organic Carnauba Wax
Carnauba wax is a vegetable wax obtained from the leaves of a Brazilian palm tree (Copernica cerifera) known as the “Tree of Life.” Carnauba Wax is known for its beautiful hydrating properties as well as natural protection.
Organic Lanolin
Lanolin is a natural and organic substance that is mainly known for its moisturizing effects on the skin. It provides a smooth barrier which protects the skin and is a natural emollient.
Organic Lavender Essential Oil
We are obsessed with organic lavender essential oil. We feature it in the Chesty Rub Balm because of its known benefits. Distilled from the plant Lavandula angustifolia, lavender oil promotes relaxation. Lavender essential oil smells divine and is traditionally used for soothing the nervous system. Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils used in aromatherapy.
Organic Menthol Oil
Menthol oil has a powerful, strong and uplifting scent that adds freshness and packs a powerful punch in our beautiful Chesty Rub Balm.
Organic Cederwood Oil
A beautiful warm woody essential oil designed to soothe and comfort. The smell of cedarwood is earthy and grounding and we love the balance that it brings to our products.
Organic Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Originally native to Australia, eucalyptus trees are now grown all over the world and widely used for it’s strong, clean, fresh scent. We use a species of eucalyptus that is safe for children and babies.
Organic Nutmeg Essential Oil
Nutmeg essential oil has an uplifting and stimulating aroma. It’s traditionally been used to help relieve muscle aches and pains.
Wild Crafted Murunga (Kakadu Plum)
This miracle of nature is from the Kimberleys in Western Australia is used traditionally as a potent, natural wholefood source of Vitamin C and a beautiful emollient designed to soothe and nourish the skin.
