Borla(r) has a rich, 40 plus year heritage of designing and building leading edge components for Mopar vehicles. Borla(r)'s Cat-Back(tm) systems are true dual mandrel bent, high performance units designed for ease of installation and solid performance gains. The system contains a merge X-Pipe to unleash hidden horsepower and improve sound. Borla(r)'s knowledge of the 5.7L Hemi engine allowed us to custom tune an exhaust system which is almost 30 lbs. lighter than the stock system, mainly due to the aircraft-grade high quality T-304 austenitic lightweight stainless steel used in every Borla(r) system. Additional attributes include superior performance and that famous Borla(r) growl of power. This S-Type system features massive 5" round Borla(r) embossed rolled edge angle-cut bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. The 140125 system flows 220cfm over stock, which helps explain why so much extra horsepower is released by this unique split rear exiting system. While many exhaust companies talk about racing, Borla(r) mufflers and headers are tested every single weekend on race tracks around the world. Functional. Be careful when tightening nuts...strips very easy
Quality is questionable. The poles will strip way to easy. So be careful when fighting down. I had to use a stack of washers on top of wire to keep the nut tight. As far as functionality goes ..been doing great for over a month.

Inexpensive part and YouTube knowledge lead to quick fix

Solenoid went out on boat. After viewing multiple videos on YouTube I figured that my solenoid was bad. Ordered this and received a day later. Replaced the other one and this worked perfectly.

Worked perfectly!

Have an older Mercury 40hp 2 stroke. This Solenoid worked perfectly. It is not that easy to install, due to the design of the engine. It does require a bit of patient and the right tools to do it. If you have big hands and don't do this type of repair to often, call a friend that is better than you to get some help :)
I have an older engine but it runs like charm. I will order an extra Solenoid and place in the box of "important spare parts" for the future.
Very good experience for the purchase and overall quality of the part.
