This folded flap strap is made from Bourbon Shell Cordovan which is a vegetable-tanned leather from Horween, USA, combined with a whiskey suede from Tannery Opera in Italy, creating a unique two-toned effect.
Shell Cordovan is famous for its gorgeous subtle sheen and unique crease-resisting property due to the density of the leather. It requires very little care and over time, develops a beautiful patina (more so on lighter colours). Shell Cordovan begins as a shiny leather and over time becomes duller with wear. This shine can be replenished through the application of leather conditioner and brushing vigorously.
