Production Notes
Don Julio 1942 Tequila is made using the traditional Tahona process that has been mastered over several decades. The piñas (heart of the blue agave plant) are slow-roasted in traditional masonry ovens for 70 hours, imparting a unique flavor and aroma to the final product. Distillation in pot stills, followed by aging in American white-oak barrels for at least 30 months, refines the tequila's smooth, luxurious character. The attention to detail in every step of the production process ensures every bottle of Don Julio 1942 is a masterpiece, worthy of its prestigious name.
