Experimental, electrifying, and delightfully unpredictable, Mente is the bold statement from Brazilian sonic architect Thiago Nassif. Blending Tropicália, no wave, electronic, and avant-pop into one dazzling package, this LP is a boundary-pushing trip through the artist’s restless mind.
Co-produced by Arto Lindsay, Mente features tracks like Pele de Leopardo, Soar Estranho, and Santa, which twist genres and defy expectations with infectious grooves and razor-sharp social commentary. Nassif’s sound world is both cerebral and danceable—think samba-meets-synth in a surreal downtown loft.
This isn’t background music—it’s a heady, stylish collision of art and rhythm. If you like your vinyl with bite and brains, Mente spins with wild brilliance from start to finish.
