Closed-loop bands cannot be threaded the traditional way, so the split back allows the compass to mount without removing the strap. It also slides cleanly over standard NATO nylon straps. What are the four silicone carriers included with the kit?

Every EWBCK 2.0 ships with all four silicone carrier colors: OD green, gray, orange, and glow-in-the-dark (GID). The OD green, gray, and orange versions include UV inhibitors to prevent fading in the field. The GID carrier activates in low light. The silicone carriers expand carry options beyond the watch band: girth-hitch the compass to pack webbing, D-rings, sternum straps, shoulder straps, or gear loops. The PVD version applies a Physical Vapor Deposition coating for a deep black finish that reduces visual signature and pairs with all-black or stealth-configured tool watch setups.
