Starfish, or Hokuhele, are a representation of the guiding star that will protect you through troubled waters. Poseidon extinguished the stars in the sky and made them fall into the sea in the form of little stars, so that a young man could give them to his beloved. From that moment on, the starfish has been considered a true love charm.
The circle is a universal symbol with extensive meaning. It represents notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, and being one with mother earth.
