RAM is setting a new standard by creating a uniform platform for making connection between any electronic device and a dock for power and data communication.
The RAM vehicle dock with GDS Technology is a spring loaded, quick release cradle that offers a secure fit with easy access to the mounted tablet. This docking station is compatible with the Apple iPad Air and 9.7 with IntelliSkin covers.
The integrated GDS Technology platform enables data and charging capabilities to the mounted tablet. Without the need to remove the IntelliSkin from the device, the user can quickly and efficiently mount the device in the vehicle dock and keep the device charged. The dock is designed to meet the demands of field workers in a variety of applications including transportation, field sales, logistics, manufacturing and much more.
Project your device’s audio to an external speaker system or recording device seamlessly, and without directly plugging any cables into your device.
NOTE: This version of the GDS® vehicle dock is not recommended for light, medium or heavy duty commercial vehicles. For these use cases, please use the locking RAM-GDS-DOCKL-V2-AP8U
