I was given this book for my honest opion. John Maxwell gets up in the morning thinking 'how can I add value to someone today'. This book really adds value to me as a leader. I have been trying to learn to connect with the new generation. They require authentic communication and transparency before they will follow them. I think he has accomplished this in spades. One of my favorite parts of the book is the quote Creativity is the JOY of not know all of the answers but of knowing the answers are out there." I am reminded in the quote ' Leaders who cling to inflexiblitly in a plan stifle creativity and miss oppourtunities to be creative" to be flexable. I need to evalutate my failures and be willing to change the plan. These little shifts have the possiblity as John says 'change your Directory.
