 Light Fingering

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh (100% Merino Wool; 420yds): 1 Skein in each of 5 colors. Shown in colorway Graphite, Antler, Cloak, Silver Fox & Tern.

ALTERNATE YARN: Mechita by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/420yds): 1 Skein in Color A, Color D & Color E. 2 Mini Skeins in each Color B & Color C.   An almost identical match to Tosh Merino Light, but in easy care superwash!  Highly variegated colors have been pulled from the selection to follow the designer's instructions. 

ALTERNATE YARN: Sock by Malabrigo  (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/440yds): 1 Skein in Color A, Color D & Color E. 2 Mini Skeins in Color B & Color C.  Sock is a plied light fingering superwash yarn for those who prefer a more defined stitch. Available in the gorgeous Malabrigo kettle-dyed colors.  Highly variegated colors have been pulled from the selection to follow the designer's instructions.

ALTERNATE YARN: NatureSpun Fingering by Brown Sheep Co.  (100% USA Wool; 50g/310 yds): 2 Skeins Color A, Color D & Color E. 1 Skein Color B & Color C.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 78" long x 18.5" tall
YARDAGE: approximately 1,620 yds Yardage details (by color value): 420 yds Color A (lightest color), 220 yds Color B (light color), 185 yds Color C (medium color), 420 yds Color D (dark color) & 375 yds Color E (darkest color)  Note: Some people have run short on the lightest color; you may want to have a bit more on hand
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate - picking up stitches, slipping stitches & color changes
