Discover 'The Fetters of Rhyme,' a transformative exploration of how rhyme intertwined with the concepts of liberty and freedom in sixteenth- and seventeenth-century English poetry. Authored by Rebecca Rush and published by Princeton University Press in 2021, this insightful trade binding delves deep into the history of poetic form, revealing the surprising connections early modern readers made with rhyming structures like couplets and sonnets. Through an engaging narrative, Rush illustrates how rhyme served as a metaphorical 'fetter,' influencing the political, social, and religious landscapes of the time. Unravel the intricate debates led by luminaries such as John Milton, who sought to liberate English verse from the 'bondage of Riming,' while simultaneously acknowledging the allure of structured verse. 'The Fetters of Rhyme' covers how poets such as Edmund Spenser, John Donne, and Ben Jonson navigated the tension between creative freedom and the constraints of form. By tracing the evolution of rhyme from the 1590s to the 1670s, Rush provides readers with fresh insights and a historical perspective that enriches our understanding of poetic complexities. This book is essential for enthusiasts of English literature, poetry scholars, and anyone looking to grasp the profound impact of rhyme on cultural discourses surrounding liberty. Immerse yourself in this scholarly treasure and uncover the hidden layers within the art of rhyme and its lasting implications.Shipping Notes

Good Suit
Size: X-Small, Color: Black
This suit is pretty nice. The fabric isn't extremely thin and cheap-feeling, and it fits really well. The shipping was really fast too. My son is 5'9" and weighs about 150 lbs. We ordered a medium first, but it was too big, so we returned it and ordered an extra small. The extra small fits perfectly.

It's a fun/unusual color, but not "celery"
Size: Medium, Color: Celery Green, Size: Medium, Color: Celery Green
Can't comment on the fit because we didn't take it out of the bag. I gave it 4 stars because 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 of the suit looks really nice through the plackaging, but we didn't open it up and try it on because the color could not be further from what we were expecting. It's actually a really cool and unusual fun fabric, but not really describable as any shade of green which is what I was going for. It's more of a beige tweed whose tiny plaid upon careful examination even has slightly blue threads.. or is that lavender? In fairness to the manufacturer, I tried and tried to get a photo with lighting that accurately represents this fun and unusual color to no avail. For a proper review I guess I should have my son put it on and take a picture in daylight. But they do need to change the color name at least to "champagne tweed" or something. No idea whose job it was to call this color "celery". ;p

Great value for a one-time event! Perfect for graduation.
Color: Black, Size: Large, Color: Black, Size: Large
I bought this suit for my son's graduation, and it was exactly what we needed. Since he will probably only wear it once, I didn't want to spend a fortune at a high-end department store. For the price, the quality is surprisingly good; it looked sharp and he received a lot of compliments during the ceremony. We ordered a size Large (L) based on their sizing chart, and it was true to size and fit him perfectly. The fabric is lightweight but doesn't look cheap at all, making this a fantastic, excellent cost-benefit choice if you are looking for an option for a one-time event. Highly recommended!

Great for the price.
Color: Black, Size: Large, Color: Black, Size: Large
I’m 220lbs 6’1 athletic build. Arms/back couldn’t fit inside the jacket. Pants and vest fit fine though. I honestly should get stuff tailored considering my body competition. Good quality for the price worked for me.

XL sized suit review
Color: Light Blue, Size: X-Large
I ordered XL for my husband who is 6'1" and weighs 200 lbs. The pants' length was too long and we had to cut off two inches and get them hemmed. Jacket could be a little bigger in the mid section and shoulders but vest fit well. Could do without the fake handkerchief in the suit jacket pocket. Still liked the style and the color of the light blue suit.
