Madrone Block Md91 3" x 3" x 6.7" 1.6 lbs. This is a sturdy block of Pacific Madrone (Arbutus). It has light peach color with darker peach undertones. Madrona tends to have a lot of color variation throughout, and we think you will be very pleased with this piece. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried blank, meaning that it retains moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It was measured at 15% moisture content in December 2023. Madrona has a lot of internal stress within the grain, thanks to it's twisted and growth habit. It is common for fine cracks to open as these blanks dry, despite being sealed. If you do have a visible crack, fill it with CA glue or epoxy resin prior to turning. |

Great suit set

It is incredibly attractive and includes everything a young child needs for a special occasion.
The material is a 75% polyester and 25% linen blend, and the outer fabric feels remarkably smooth. Its unstructured design allows for an attractive, natural drape, and the blend conveniently allows for machine washing at home.
As is typical with linen-based materials, the fabric can be naturally stiff and prone to wrinkling, so I recommend ironing or steaming it before use. The lightweight feel makes it an excellent choice for the spring, summer, and fall months.
Overall, this suit offers exceptional value for the price.
