Discover the profound insights in 'Men at Work: Australia's Parenthood Trap,' the 75th Quarterly Essay by Annabel Crabb. This thought-provoking essay examines the evolving dynamics of parenthood and gender roles in Australia, sparking a conversation about men's involvement in raising children. As we follow political events, from Jacinda Ardern's groundbreaking announcement to Scott Morrison's and Josh Frydenberg's experiences as father-leaders, Crabb raises critical questions. Why are fathers still expected to be absent? Why do only a few men take parental leave? These pressing issues highlight the need for a cultural shift towards gender equity, challenging societal norms that confine men to the workplace while women balance professional and domestic roles. With humor, intelligence, and solid research, Crabb argues for a change: a world where men can embrace parenthood without career stigma. 'Men at Work' is a vital read for those seeking to understand and reshape the future of fatherhood and equality, advocating for a society that values both personal and professional commitments equally. Join the conversation about the future of parenthood and gender equity in our modern world with this compelling essay, perfect for educators, parents, and advocates of gender equality alike.Shipping Notes

Good, but size up!
Color: Black, Size: 30W x 29L
These are exactly what I wanted, but as many have stated, you need to size up. I found that going up two sizes (from my usual 28 to a 30) made for a great fit. I love that they come in a 29 length. One anything point is they came with creases in them from being folded in the package for a length of time. I had to steam and press them before wearing. I’ll likely buy them in other colors.

Great Pants
Color: Khaki, Size: 46W x 32L
Great pants but buy one size up in the waist. They are well made, comfortable, and good looking. They are Dickies brand what more needs to be said.

order 3 or 4 inches up than your usual waist, run very small in waist
Color: Charcoal, Size: 33W x 30L
arrived with dirt on the bottom legs but amazon helped with that. anyway I weigh 115 lbs and am 5'8 and I am a woman. I know that Dickies these days run super small for their size, so it sounds insane but order up 4 inches than your normal waist size, then run small in the waist and they will shrink a size with a few washings. I ordered a 33 waist and they did shrink probably a size in one wash lol! they are still a bit loose in the waist but not big and I know with a couple more washings they will be just right. I do not like anything skinny fit or with no give. but yah, I love the charcoal gray color, one of my favorite colors, much cooler than plain black. I normally enjoy the Dickies shorts but with these forty something degree afternoons these are my new go tos. I am not a jeans person and I sure as hell with not be wearing pajama pants out in public like these dang younger adults lately.

Perfect fit every time
Color: Silver, Size: 30W x 30L
These original 874’s are the real deal. Stocked up during the sale and got them for my husband. He loves all the colors and the durability of these pants is incredible. He still has some from 14 years ago!
But he wanted a few new ones- and they had more colors so I stocked up and surprised him when I told him how much they cost during the sale.
These pants never wrinkle. I wash them hot and air dry- no wrinkling or shrinking. They look great. They’re sewn to perfection. The quality is there and has been for years, a reason my husband only wears these.
Quality, value, durability, style, fit. Great for all seasons, they’re not too heavy or too light. Great functionality- pockets for everything . Great even in summer - they are very breathable. Perfect fit every time. Great for heavy road construction or just going for a hike.
Highly recommend!
