The panels are also designed to improve the overall sound environment of your home. They effectively absorb reverberation which makes a room feel echo-y and uncomfortable. This means you'll enjoy a more peaceful and comfortable home environment, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. Areas that can benefit greatly from this feature are offices, reception areas, recording studios, theatre rooms and any large areas that consist of mainly hard surfaces.  Acoustic tests results are available. 

Panels measure 2700mm x 520mm, and are made with slats measuring 27mm wide x 13mm in depth, with a distance of 13mm in between. The slats are mounted on a base of acoustic felt.  The specially developed acoustic felt is made from recycled material and is 9mm thick.  The overall thickness of each panel is 22mm including the slats and the felt.  


Designed with you in mind, PANELUX™ can be installed and customized with minimal tools and experience.  It is easily installed in any direction with either screws or adhesive.  The weight of each panel is 8.5kg.

For $14 for 8.7 square feet, this was more than enough to cover the important parts of the trunk of my 944. You DON'T need a roller to apply this, just strong hands and a well prepped surface. I vacuumed, lightly washed, then used 90% alcohol to clean the surface before applying. I could have used more and covered every inch, but there is diminishing returns in doing so (especially on a budget, or with a lower wattage sound system in my opinion). If this stuck as well as it did for me in a 45° garage, then it should stick just fine for you too. I will say, it is a little cheap feeling, but for the price I can't complain. There is an audible difference when knocking on the panels this material is applied to. I'm not a professional though, and if you're an audiophile, there are better options (but prepare to empty your wallet). Not sure I would do an entire vehicle with this material, but it is a great supplement.
