The Maxxon SLIM fly reel series is a perfect companion for any 2wt to 6wt, 5-foot to 11-foot, be it bamboo, glass or graphite, nymphing or dry-fly rod.

CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum, this instant classic was designed with modern machining techniques and utilizes an old-school click & pawl system. Without the need for bulky drag systems, or bearings and their housings, the click & pawl system offers a super-slim profile. A small arbor design also helps the SLIM keep an overall width of less than one and one-half inches. Extremely light, the 2/3/4 size SLIM weighs in just over 3 ounces, and the larger 4/5/6 size weighs just under 3.5 oz.

The SLIM comes in two sizes, and each size is available in two beautiful hard-anodized colors. GRAPHITE Gray - to match our QUILL 6-foot 6-inch rod series, and a timeless classic to match just about every other rod ever made, and always classy, Polishied SILVER.
