With its direct-injected, turbocharged engine and up to 7,500 lbs. of towing capacity, the 2019+ Ranger is focused on combining efficiency with capability. The 2.3L EcoBoost engine under the hood of the Ranger produces over 310 lb-ft. of torque to let you roam free, but the direct-injection that makes that power possible also places it at risk for carbon buildup. Blow-by is a natural occurrence in any internal-combustion engine, but direct-injected engines are particularly susceptible to the carbon buildup it can cause. Without fuel washing over the back of the engine?s intake valves, blow-by is free to accumulate and the heat of combustion eventually turns that blow-by into hard carbon deposits. As those carbon deposits build up, they rob the 2.3L EcoBoost of air, reducing power and fuel economy. If left completely unchecked, the carbon buildup can get so bad that the engine loses compression and begins to misfire. To help prevent these issues, Mishimoto has developed a direct-fit catch can kit for your 2019+ Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost. Our catch can intercepts the blow-by, preventing it from entering the intake and coating the intake valves. The oil, fuel, and water vapor in the blow-by is condensed by our catch can?s internal baffle and air diverters, while a 50-micron bronze filter on the outlet of the catch can removes carbon and other particulate. This system ensures that the only thing moving through your intake is clean air. As with all our direct-fit catch can kits, this 2019+ Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost catch can kit comes with direct-fit lines and bracket that securely mounts the catch can without any cutting or drilling. Great fun for our dogs!

My dogs can’t get enough of this very noisy ball. We have one outside and one in their playroom. It is very noisy. It is very hard. So, I’d say a room with fine furniture is not the place for it. Ours bang it around pretty good.
Our boxer did split one, biting it. But, she’s a serious chewer! Our other dog carries it around sometimes but hasn’t been able to damage it yet. So, I’d say for most chewers it’s going to last a long time.
It’s a great toy but in most households I’d say basement or outside. Again, it’s hard and did ding a few baseboards.

Durable, Rugged, Dog Approved Fun!!

This thing is durable and worth every penny! I bought this over 5 years ago for my rescue and he STILL loves it. He plays with it near daily and it's got a LOT of love-work scrapes, scratches, and scuffs. But it still works perfectly!! Because he's on the medium side, he can't quite bite down on it. Not sure how it'd hold up to heavy chewers with larger mouths. But he can play with this solo for ages and has SO MUCH fun. We love to listen to his "conversations" as he gets into it with this ball. It's been a winner since the day we took it out of the box. It's also the longest lasting toy we still have! Everything else either wore out, was destroyed, or broke. This battery-free ball has made the cut for us.

Lasted a day for my dog

My dog absolutely loved this toy, but sadly it didn’t even last a full day 😩 I’m not sure if that’s because I have a Rottweiler/Lab mix with the jaw strength of a tiny excavator, or if the durability just isn’t great. Within a few hours, he had already torn right through it 🥲 That said, the sound it makes had us cracking up and definitely kept my dog entertained and intrigued while it lasted!
