In the Country of Men is a poignant novel by Hisham Matar that explores the complexities of childhood and the harsh realities of life in a politically charged environment. Set against the backdrop of Libya, this deeply moving narrative follows nine-year-old Suleiman as he begins to navigate the challenging waters of his family’s secrets and the enigmatic world beyond his home. Written in an elegant prose style, the A-format paperback edition, published by Penguin UK in 2016, comprises 256 pages filled with emotion and insight. As Suleiman's father disappears from his life, leaving him to grapple with notions of love, betrayal, and the loss of innocence, readers are drawn into a thoughtful examination of masculinity and the burdens it can carry. With themes of family ties, political turmoil, and the quest for identity, In the Country of Men resonates with anyone who has ever felt the turbulence of growing up in uncertain times. This book is not just a captivating story; it is also a profound reflection on the ties that bind us and the obligations we carry. Perfect for readers who enjoy literary fiction that delves deep into human experiences, this work stands as a powerful testament to Matar’s skill as a storyteller. Dive into this compelling tale of childhood and resilience that will leave you reflective long after the last page.Shipping Notes

Great fit, true to size. I am 6'2" 217 lbs and bought the XL. The color is just as expected and the cut feels and looks tailored. This suit looks like aand feels expensive while being extremely budget friendly.

5’-11”, 185 lbs, Size- Large
5”-11”, 185 lbs, size Large. Suit jacket fits good and has some weight to it. My chest is a little bigger proportionally for my size but if I go with a size up, the jacket would be too big. Vest fits good but appears to be XL though it is labeled L. Not a big deal. Pants are also a good fit. Waistband is not too tight or too loose around my waist. Pant length is a little long but still a good fit. I normally wear 34x34 pants.
