Contemporary textile artists using these themes in their work feature alongside personal work from Claire and examples from community-based textile projects. The book features some of the very best textile artists around, esteemed American fiber artists and the doyenne of textiles, Alice Kettle. Resilient fabrics that can be manipulated, stressed, withstand tension and be made anew are recommended throughout the book, as well as techniques such as layering, patching, reinforcing, re-stitching and mending, plus ideas for the inclusion of everyday materials in your work.
There's an exploration of ways to link your emotional health with your textile practice, and 'Community' suggests ways to make connections with others in your regular textile work. 'Landscape' has a range of suggestions and examples of immersing your work in the local landscape, a terrific way to find meaning in your work and a sense of place.

Overall a really great toy for all sizes of dogs

I ordered this product on Thursday and it said that it was going to be at my house in a week , but to my suprise it got delivered on that Saturday. My puppy loves these nylon bones. She is a 12lb dog but I ordered the X-Large size, and she loves it! The nylon bones really work in keeping her teeth clean of tar for the most part, and she loves the flavoring inside. The only downfall is when she got to the marrow part it stained my light sheets. I replaced them with darker sheets and there is no trace of the bone. Overall a really great toy for all sizes of dogs!

Our Dog Loves This One
We got our dog two nylabones and this benebone and he really prefers this one. Like the nylabones he barely even looked at, but he loves this one so much it's starting to splinter off a little. Apparently it can just be sanded down again but I'll probably end up getting more of these so that we can switch them out. I noticed that the shape also helps him be able to handle it with his paws.

Initially showed little interest, then decided she loved it
The product itself looks great and is clearly very well made but my dog had zero interest initially in this which I find odd because many other similar toys she has attacked.
Update —- several weeks later all of a sudden my dog decided she liked this and started chewing on it and has been her favorite - go figure
Update 2 — it’s become her favorite chew and she’s obsessed with it! My older dog started chewing on it, and it broke one of her old teeth!
