The Florida Goldback is the sixth state to join the innovative Goldback series, following Utah, Nevada, New Hampshire, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Each state in the series adds its own distinct flavor to the Goldback design, celebrating local heritage and culture in stunning detail. In 2024, we saw the release of the new Florida Goldback series, which includes an all-new set of three denominations: the 1/2 Goldback, the 2 Goldback, and the 100 Goldback. These new additions enhance the versatility of Goldbacks and offer even more options for collectors and investors alike.
Currency Highlights:
- Contains 1/10 oz (0.01 oz) of .999 fine Gold.
- Individual notes come in protective plastic.
- Face: The Florida 50 Goldback features the virtue “Amor Patriae” (Love of Country) through a Women’s Airforce Service Pilot (WASP) flying a P-51 Mustang over Hendricks Army Airfield, honoring the bravery, patriotism, and contributions of women who served in WWII.
-
Back: Displays a reversed image of the front illustration, serving as a sophisticated security feature.
- Made in the United States.
Crafted from pure twenty-four-karat gold, the Florida Goldback continues the tradition of combining artistry with tangible wealth. Each 100 Goldback contains exactly 1/10th of a troy ounce of gold, carefully bonded between layers of durable polymer for resilience and longevity. Unlike traditional gold coins or bullion, Goldbacks are lightweight, portable, and divisible, offering unmatched flexibility for barter, trade, or collection.
The Gold is verified through rigorous testing by the manufacturer and independent laboratories.
When Gold is in such thin sheets, it is easier to authenticate than Gold hidden within a coin or bar. Each of these notes is printed with high resolution, full-color text and graphics. The result is a new, beautiful way to use Gold for artistic, commemorative and branding purposes.
The Goldback is meant to be the best physical currency for retaining value. The goal is for people to be able to pay for anything with the Goldback.
The Goldback is believed to be legal tender in the State of Utah and was created with the intent of it being circulated as a currency. These Goldbacks can also be used to barter anywhere in the United States.
Whether you’re looking for an investment, a collector’s item, or a tangible piece of currency that embodies sound money, the Florida Goldback offers both beauty and practicality. This fractional gold note stands as a symbol of innovation, combining the timeless allure of gold with modern-day utility. It’s perfect for anyone who appreciates the intersection of artistry and tangible wealth.
