Key Specs
- Compatibility: 2005–2016 Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350 4x4 (factory-style steering geometry).
- Purpose: Hardware/wear-item refresh for drag link and tie rod connections.
- What this is not: Does not include the bars/links themselves (no complete tie rod/drag link included).
- Use case: Tighten up steering, reduce play, and restore alignment stability when your bars/links are still serviceable.
- Options: Select sub-kits by section (drag link/ tie rod) as available on the product page.
Have lift/offset wheels? We can advise on best practices to maximize joint life and minimize bump steer.
What’s Included
Kit contents vary by selection (drag link / tie rod refresh). Typical items include new fasteners, spacers, hardware, and related wear items as applicable.
Exact counts and part numbers may vary by revision; refer to the packing list in your box. If you need a pre-ship contents check, contact us and we’ll confirm your configuration.
Installation
- Difficulty: Basic–Intermediate (depending on corrosion and taper fit).
- General Steps: Support vehicle; mark steering wheel/clocking; remove worn hardware; clean bores/tapers; install new hardware; torque to spec; center axle and steering wheel; road test.
- Tools: Basic hand tools, torque wrench, penetrating oil, paint marker for alignment reference.
- After install: Re-torque and inspect after the first 50–100 miles.
If you later decide to upgrade to our complete steering system, this rebuild kit is a solid first step. We can help you choose the right tie rod/drag link/track bar package for your lift and use case. Ask us about FFS Professional Installation services.
