The Reverend Charger RA FM starts out with a classic Reverend korina body. What makes this Charger stand out from its brethren is it flame maple top that caps it off in style. Together, these two tonewoods produce a resonant tone at a respectable mid-weight – not too light, not too heavy. This combination is dashed with a thin body finish that shows off an awesome Coffee Burst color. The Charger's korina and flame maple are matched with a dark roasted maple neck shaped in a Medium Oval profile, perfect for sliding across the palm in grip while playing. This neck features an ebony fingerboard adorned with twenty-two frets and measuring with a twelve-inch radius for a modern feel across the fingers.

Clocking in for a powerful and punchy voice are two proprietary, Reverend-designed pickups. In the bridge position, this Charger features a Hyper Vintage humbucker. Alongside, a Nuevo 90 pickup joins in to complement and compound on the overall kick this guitar is capable of. The sonic force this pair of pickups summons is further enhanced by Reverend's proprietary electronics setups. A treble bleed circuit appears in the equation to retain high end when volume is lowered while Reverend's Bass Contour control knob allows for easy re-voicing of pickups to clean, thicken, or heat up. Further features designed into this Reverend include a TOM bridge with a Stop Tail tailpiece that solidifies the strings for sturdy intonation. This bridge is matched with a set of Reverend Pin-Lock tuners lining the headstock to assist in quick string changes and intonation. In addition, this headstock is hand-initialed by a Reverend technician who inspected the whole guitar and assured its quality.
