2014-2018 GM 1500 4" Lift Kit with NX2 Nitro Shocks (BDS712H)This BDS 4" lift kit fits the 2014 2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, with clearance for up to 33" tires. It uses BDS's high clearance design with full length replacement strut shocks, high arched 1 4" steel crossmembers, multi piece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC machined ductile iron knuckles that work with factory tie rod ends
This BDS 4" lift kit fits the 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, with clearance for up to 33" tires. It uses BDS's high-clearance design with full-length replacement strut shocks, high-arched 1/4" steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron knuckles that work with factory tie rod ends for proper ESC function, along with sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets and CV spacers. In the rear, choose a replacement lift block or full Glide-Ride leaf spring option, plus new u-bolts and NX2 Nitro shocks.

- GM produced several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014-2017 trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models require the Cast Steel Control Arm kit; Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models require the Aluminum Control Arm kit. Verify the correct control arm selection for your application before ordering.

the "fit" is very precise

Nice Fabrication, Good materials, perfect adhesive applications, "clean joints" etc.
Appears to be a good UPGRADE from the stock Motorcraft product.
CONs: The FIT was a "smidge TIGHT", and took very precise initial alignment and "pressure" to begin to slide into the rectangular hole. I measured the "Hole" at 7.375" wide, or (187.33 mm)... the FILTER is exactly the SAME.
I would suggest maybe reducing the Width by 1 mm, to allow for an easier installation.
The MOTORCRAFT uses an "open-cell" foam structure for the (2) Side pieces on their filter assembly, allowing some "compression to fit", of the Width, easing the difficulty of installation, yet still filling all voids.
In summation, the "fit" is very precise. Not to be hurried or rushed, maybe a bit meticulous for the impatient or weak of heart.

First off, let's talk about installation. If you're someone who loves a good yoga session or considers themselves a Cirque du Soleil dropout, this is the filter for you. The instructions are so clear and helpful that even a goldfish could follow them. However, be prepared to twist and turn in ways you didn't know your body could.
