With the extra airflow that the fitment of the VWR Panel Filter gives, our tests have shown that it can deliver an additional 15NM of torque on a standard 2.0 TSI engine, thus making a small but worthwhile difference to the feeling of mid-range power of the car.
With the improved efficiency, many customers have noticed an improvement in fuel economy in normal driving.
This filter complements our OEM+ Stage 1 Power Upgrades really well, together with our VWR Exhaust Rear Section.
Development
The VWR filter is unique in using a TriFoam triple-layer laminate of open-cell polyurethane foam, which gives an exceptionally high level of filtration to protect the engine from contaminants in the air down to well below 5 microns.
The TriFoam we specify is the best in the market - the same specification as used by certain well-known F1 teams - and the exact same material that our renowned Cold-Air Intakes use.
There are of course cheaper, single-layer foam panel filters on the market. We’ve tried many of these over the years; but in our experience they do not combine satisfactory levels of both flow and filtration – meaning a compromise for your engine (sometimes quite significant) for the sake of a small price difference.
All of the filters are hand-built in the UK from the highest quality materials available.

Lightweight, Comfortable Hoodie That’s Great for Everyday Wear

This hoodie turned out to be a really solid combination of comfort, performance, and casual style. The fabric feels lightweight and breathable while still providing enough warmth for cooler mornings and evenings. I especially like how soft and stretchy it feels without being bulky.

A great lightweight hoodie.

Another excellent M MAELREG product. I already have some pants and jackets from M MAELREG and figured this hoodie would be great as well and I was right. It is lightweight and very comfortable while also being warm. The material is smooth and soft to the touch with a stylish look to it that would work in tthe gym, on the golf course, or out about town. I really love the hood design, not having a single hem down the center lets the hood rest more naturally on your head. It fits as expected, I would prefer it to be a couple inches longer, but that's just my personal taste. Overall, this is an excellent lightweight hoodie.

Nice hoodie, very comfortable

This hoodie feels lightweight and breathable which makes it good for golf, workouts, or just casual everyday wear. The fabric has a soft athletic feel and stretches enough to stay comfortable while moving around. It’s lighter than a standard sweatshirt, so it works better for layering or mild weather.
I liked that it didn’t feel bulky while still giving some warmth during cooler mornings. The hood lays nicely and the material dries fairly quickly if you sweat in it. It also has a cleaner athletic look that pairs well with joggers, shorts, or golf pants without looking sloppy.

Great lightweight fabric, good design

This hoodie is a great athletic top. The size small fits my husband well, although it's a little loose in the arms. So if you have a leaner figure, you may find it a bit baggy. But the fabric is fantastic, a high-quality performance fabric that seems breathable and the UV protection is a great bonus. The sleeves are long enough to make good use of the thumb holes in cooler weather, and the color is a nice neutral, gray-green.
For reference, the size small has a chest of about 42" (measured just under the sleeves) and a center back length of approx. 25".

Great Quality and Look

21st century materials are here to save us! :) M Maelreg does a great job utilizing those materials to the best of their ability. I've really become a fan of just about anything that they make, and this shirt is no exception. It's made from the very popular 88/12 Poly/spandex blend that has become ubiquitous in the fitness/active industry because of its amazing tensile characteristics- wicking, quick dry, UPF, and extra comfy against the skin. You get all of that here and a no-frills, really beautiful color to go along with a fit that is exactly true to size. I took the more form-fitting version for my 5'10" 175 lb. frame (I've found both L and M work from these guys, M for a more tailored look) and it's exactly right- enough room to move around comfortably and breathe, not so tight that it's hugging my belly. It's super lightweight and really easy to launder (I hang dry mine to prevent pilling and wrinkles), cold/low and a medium/low heat iron to rid those stubborn factory wrinkles and you shouldn't ever need to iron it again. Another great offering from the folks at Maelreg.
