Celebrating two decades of partnership between Dunlop and Zakk Wylde, the WA44 Wylde Audio Overdrive embodies a part of Zakk's signature style, working together with other collaborative pedals including the Wylde Audio Phaser and Wylde Audio Chorus to allow guitarists to experience the same tonal spectrum as one of the most iconic guitarists in history.
A sophisticated circuitry occupies the inside of this pedal, offering a drive with a dynamic range and precision. Featuring intuitive external controls, the WA44 offers flexibility and customization. A FOOTSWITCH toggles the effect on and off, while a red LED indicator ensures visibility on a dimly lit stage. The OUTPUT knob allows adjustment of the overall effect volume with precision, and a TONE knob offers nuanced control over the overdrive EQ, allowing users to dial in the ideal tonal characteristics. Finally, the GAIN knob governs the intensity of the overdrive.
Designed for maximum versatility, the MXR Wylde Audio Overdrive WA44 accepts various power sources to accommodate specific setup requirements. Whether powered by a single 9-volt battery, a 9-volt AC adapter like the Dunlop ECB003, or an MXR Brick Series power supply, the WA44 ensures consistent performance and reliability in any musical environment.
