Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to Museum Standard

Every surface of this sculpture rewards close inspection. Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, the bronze shell is built up around a precision wax original, then poured, cooled, and finished entirely by hand. The result is a deep black-brown patina with a controlled sheen that shifts across the flanks and shoulder blades as light moves around the piece. Musculature is rendered with high anatomical precision: you can read the tension in the hindquarters, the pull across the neck, the fine relief of each tendon along the lower legs.
