Einige Korbmodelle (z.B. CHOPO Rottweiler oder Riesenschnauzer-Modelle) weisen aufgrund ihres Aufbaus starke Knicke an der Unterseite auf, die bei manchen Hunden (z.B. aufgrund kurzer Beine) stören können. Diese werden bei diesem Umbau entfernt.

Eine Pulverbeschichtung ist nach diesem Umbau zwingend notwendig!

Um einen Korb umbauen zu können, muss er folgende Punkte erfüllen:
- er muss aus Metall bestehen (dünner Draht ist zurzeit nicht möglich, zB. Modelle von Ideal)
- er darf nicht (schwarz) gummiert oder anderweitig beschichtet sein
->optimal eignen sich silberne, verzinkte Körbe von CHOPO, MF und JVM/Safety First
