Unwind is a non-alcoholic herbal tonic licensed by Health Canada (NPN 80143850) and formulated with seven clinically studied calming herbs. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve restlessness and nervousness (calmative).

Each 1 mL dose delivers Ashwagandha, Passionflower, Valerian, Chamomile, Skullcap, Lemon Balm, and Holy Basil — at meaningful, label-disclosed amounts. No melatonin. No sedatives. No alcohol. Made in Canada.

How it works

Restlessness and nervousness build up across the day. Long hours, stacked responsibilities, the kind of mental noise that doesn't switch off when the workday ends. Your nervous system stays activated — even when your body is ready to slow down.

Unwind is a herbal tonic formulated with adaptogens and traditional calming herbs (nervines), used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve restlessness and nervousness. It works as a calmative, gently supporting your body's return to a more settled state.

This isn't a sedative. It's a calmative.

What's inside — per 1 mL dose

Adaptogens — for how you respond to stress

  • Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) — 40 mg
  • Holy Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum) — 40 mg

Calming herbs (nervines) — traditional support for restlessness

  • Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) — 62.5 mg (4:1 extract, 250 mg dry equivalent)
  • Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) — 50 mg
  • Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) — 40 mg
  • Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) — 40 mg
  • Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) — 18.75 mg (4:1 extract, 75 mg dry equivalent)

Non-medicinal ingredients: Glycerin, Water.

How to use

Adults 18 years and older: Take 1 mL (one full dropper, roughly 20–30 drops) up to 4 times daily.

Place directly under your tongue, hold for 30 seconds, then swallow. Or add it to water, sparkling water, herbal tea, or a mocktail. Can be taken with or without food. Shake well before use.

Many people take Unwind in the evening to ease into the wind-down hours, with consistent daily use building support over time.

If your nervous system feels stuck on, this is for you

You've been:

  • Wired but tired — unable to switch off when you finally have time to rest
  • Lying awake with a mind that won't quiet down
  • Tired of melatonin hangovers and groggy mornings
  • Looking for plant-based support with real, transparent dosing
  • Wanting to feel calmer, settled, and more like yourself again

Common questions

Is Unwind a sleep aid?
Unwind is a Health Canada-licensed herbal tonic used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve restlessness and nervousness (calmative). Many people take it as part of their evening wind-down ritual. It's not a sedative, and it doesn't override your natural rhythm the way melatonin can.

How is Unwind different from melatonin?
Melatonin is a hormone that signals your body it's time to sleep, often by overriding your natural circadian rhythm. Unwind works differently. It's a calmative formulated with adaptogens and traditional calming herbs (nervines) used to help relieve restlessness and nervousness. No hormones. No grogginess.

When will I feel it?
Many people notice a shift within 20–30 minutes of taking a dose. With consistent daily use, the effects build over time. Adaptogens and nervines are designed to gently support your system, not deliver a sudden sedating effect.

How much should I take?
Adults 18 years and older: 1 mL (one full dropper) up to 4 times daily. You can take it directly under your tongue or add it to any drink.

Is it safe to take with other supplements or medications?
Unwind is licensed by Health Canada (NPN 80143850) for safety, efficacy, and quality. However, please consult your healthcare provider before use if you are taking heart or blood pressure medication, have a heart condition or diabetes, or are breastfeeding. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Exercise caution if you drive or use machinery as you may experience drowsiness.

Will it make me drowsy?
You may experience drowsiness when using this product. Avoid driving or using machinery after taking Unwind, and do not combine with alcohol or other drowsiness-causing products.

Where is it made?
Unwind is manufactured in Canada in a Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) certified facility, formulated by Sanaz Bahrami, MSc Biomedical Engineering, founder of Melts Infusions. Every batch is produced to Health Canada's regulatory standards under NPN 80143850.

Is Unwind available in the US?
Yes. Unwind ships across Canada and the United States. In the US, it is sold as a dietary supplement.

Why I made Unwind

I'm Sanaz Bahrami, founder of Melts Infusions and a biomedical engineer by training. I formulated Unwind because I needed something that helped me settle after long days — without the grogginess of melatonin or the dependency risk of pharmaceuticals.

Every herb in this bottle was chosen for its relationship with the nervous system, dosed at amounts that match the clinical research, and submitted to Health Canada for licensing. No fillers. No filler claims. Just plants, transparently dosed, made in Canada.

The best quality and most reliable diaper for toddlers!
Size: 4T-5T, Unit Count: 99
So far Huggies Pull-Ups have been the best for our toddler before we venture out of diapers! The quality is impeccable. Now when it comes to size, I preferably go up a size for our toddler, they seem to fit better and give my toddler comfort. These pull ups will last throughout the night without any leakage and we’ve had very few to none rashes. Also one of my favorite thing about the Huggies Pull-Ups is the way they make it easy to put and take off with the option of either literally pulling up which helps get these toddler’s ready for under garments but it also comes with the side attachments. So what put these on however works best for you!

Great diapers
Size: 4T-5T, Unit Count: 17
These pull-ups are great. They’re very soft and have a cute little Minnie mouse print on them. They’re great for the price. Luckily my daughter only needs them for bedtime, but they’re great because she can put them on and pull them up by herself. The brand is great, I’ve never had an issue with this brand before.

Our Go-To Pull-Ups for Potty Training
Size: 2T-3T, Unit Count: 124
We’ve tried a few different brands during potty training, and we always come back to Pull-Ups. They fit my daughter really well, are easy for her to pull up and down on her own, and hold up great overnight without leaking. The sides tear easily for quick changes, which is super helpful when you’re out and about. The designs are also cute and helped make potty training a little more exciting for my toddler. Definitely a staple in our house during this stage!

Luvs pulls up are the best
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 48
I love this brand. It’s very secure, and the adjustable band makes it easy to tighten without taking off my child’s pants. It doesn’t leave an odor, the texture is smooth, and my child is always comfortable. The price matches the quality, and there’s no leakage or spillover. Overall, it’s very durable. Make sure to have it correctly fastened because the Velcro can leave scratches on child skin.
