The included washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter™ features oiled cotton filter media, and the oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. An enclosed air box design helps protect the filter and inlet air from the heat of the engine bay, and allows for quick access to the filter. The entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Some intakes are not legal for sale or use on any pollution controlled motor vehicle in California. Oil pressure drop
Once the engine warms up, the oil pressure drops enough to trigger the check engine light every time it dips below the threshold. I decided to try an aftermarket oil filter, but it looks like I’ll be switching back to the pricey OEM one after all.
