This is the story of Rex Barney, the man who threw faster than Feller and Ryan; and whose pitching career sped by quicker than his fastball because he could not control it.

In 1993 he received the Eddie Rommel Award from the Maryland Professional Baseball Players Association and was presented with an original seat from Ebbets Field in ceremonies in Brooklyn, New York.
