FAQs
Will my embroidery machine automatically recognize this frame's size, or do I need to set it manually?
CHANGHUA embroidery machines usually require manual configuration for third-party hoops such as the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop. After attaching your 12.4″ × 15.6″ (315 × 395 mm) hoop, you should add its parameters in the machine’s control software and ensure your embroidery design fits entirely within the sewing field to avoid needle collisions or alignment errors.
If I have computers or USB drives near my embroidery station, could the strong magnets damage my electronic data?
The magnetic hoop uses neodymium magnets with strong magnetic fields. It’s best to keep magnetic storage devices—such as USB drives, credit cards, or external disks—and laptops at least 50cm away. This precaution prevents potential data interference while allowing your MaggieFrame embroidery hoop to operate safely alongside your CHANGHUA machine.
What precautions should I take if I use this strong magnetic frame in an environment where children are present (like a home studio)?
The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop is an industrial-grade tool, not suitable for play. The magnets can snap together forcefully and cause severe pinching if handled improperly. Always store the embroidery frame assembled and out of reach of children. Keep your CHANGHUA embroidery setup in a restricted, supervised workspace to ensure complete safety.
Will the magnetic strength weaken over time? What is the expected lifespan?
MaggieFrame uses high-quality neodymium magnets known for their exceptional durability and long life. Under normal usage and storage conditions, they will retain their magnetic power for decades without noticeable loss. This means your magnetic embroidery hoop for CHANGHUA machines remains a reliable, one-time investment for continuous embroidery performance.
