After relocating to London, they immersed themselves in the live circuit, releasing singles including the Dan Carey-produced (Wet Leg, Fontains D.C., IDLES) "Only a Dream" and Italo-disco-tinged "Colt," while steadily building a global fanbase. Their follow-up EP Accelerator via [PIAS] drew comparisons to Bar Italia, julie and (untitled) halo, and saw them tour with Sam Fender, Chvrches and Wunderhorse, alongside festival slots at SXSW, The Great Escape and All Points East. Now, with their long-awaited self-titled debut album, produced by Ben Hillier (Blur, Depeche Mode) and Finn Bellingham (Sam Akpro, Sunken), HighSchool deliver a vivid coming-of-age soundtrack. Recorded between London and Melbourne, the record fuses post-punk, shoegaze and alternative revivalism across twelve personal songs - from the euphoric "Dipped" and digital-age romance of "Sony Ericsson" to the nostalgic closer "Best and Fairest".
