The surprise announcement finds Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Plant and 27-time Grammy-winner Krauss, reunited after some fourteen years, following the historic success of their first collaboration Raising Sand (2007), which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, generated platinum sales, and earned six Grammy Awards including Album and Record of the Year.Like its predecessor, Raise The Roof was produced by T Bone Burnett, who worked with Plant and Krauss to expand their collaboration in thrilling new directions, accompanied by drummer Jay Bellerose, guitarists Marc Ribot, David Hidalgo, Bill Frisell, and Buddy Miller, bassists Dennis Crouch and Viktor Krauss, along with pedal steel guitarist Russ Pahl among others. The album features twelve new recordings of songs by legends and unsung heroes including Merle Haggard, Allen Toussaint, The Everly Brothers, Anne Briggs, Geeshie Wiley, Bert Jansch and more. Other highlights include a Plant-Burnett original, “High and Lonesome,” and the Lucinda Williams classic “Can’t Let Go,” on which Williams herself contributes backing vocals.
The songs selected for Raise The Roof alternately reflect deep-rooted influences and new revelations. For his part, Robert Plant was keen to introduce the English folk traditions he has loved since adolescence, while Krauss cites hearing “Quattro (Worlds Drift In)” by the American group Calexico, as “the moment I knew we’d make another album.”
“We wanted it to move,” Krauss continues. “We brought other people in, other personalities within the band, and coming back together again in the studio brought a new intimacy to the harmonies.”
Adds Plant: “You hear something and you go ‘Man, listen to that song, we got to sing that song!’ It’s a vacation, really—the perfect place to go that you least expected to find.”
Released in 2007, Raising Sand is one of the most beloved and acclaimed albums of the 21st century. In addition to winning all six Grammy Awards for which it was nominated and certified double platinum in the UK.

Long lasting. Excellent protection.
We took a trip to Florida from DC. Through full days at Disney and days on the beach, no one had even the slightest sunburn. We made sure to apply it at regular intervals, and that seemed to work amazingly. The texture wasn’t greasy at all, and the kids seem to have no problem putting it on themselves. It was very water resistant and seemed to last long in the pool. No overtly noticeable fragrances.

One of my fave moisturizers!
Love love love this lotion!
No residue, unscented and just enjoyable to use. It is very hydrating and great to use after you've been outside or just need a little extra boost to your skin. The ingredients are exceptional and I'm really excited to try other Blue Lizard brand products!! Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Way to much for this small container
We paid way too much for this $8 and it’s spilled in box all over the place I opened it it spilled on my hand I do not recommend this!!! I should have bought the $13 one! This was a rip off plus messy it’s spilled in package and all around the rim of container, I tried it and it burns my face and it smells like baby powder!

Get the Tallow Soap Bar instead!
Too perfumy. Not very moisturizing. I've had a lot better but this same company makes an amazing tallow bar soap and that is worth it.
