As a solution, we’ve begun producing Made-to-Order wetsuits right here in our San Diego factory. Each wetsuit is hand-cut, glued, bonded, and blind-stitched from start to finish by a single skilled craftsperson. Every suit is then carefully inspected by another team member to ensure the highest standard of quality.

We’ve made a few upgrades along the way:

• The pullover is made with 3mm GreenGoma rubber—a bit thicker than our traditional 2mm—for added warmth without compromising flexibility.

• The bibjohn features 5mm GreenGoma rubber with a slightly different outer skin from the pullover. It is a more durable thickness and helps your kick slip through the water more efficiently. 

We began prototyping this concept in the spring of 2025 testing it first in a pool, then a lake, and finally in open water and surf here in San Diego. That extra millimeter delivers noticeable warmth and buoyancy—making it faster without sacrificing flexibility.

We’ve already delivered these suits to customers, and the feedback has been outstanding.

The two-piece design of the T1 Wetsuits offers more comfort and less restriction. The top and bottom are not attached. This means you have much more freedom of movement and there is no “torso-rubber stretch” or shoulder fatigue that occurs with one-piece wetsuits. All T1 models are sold as separates for a customized and personal fit. With up to seven sizes of tops and bottoms, you have 49 possible size combinations from which to choose. Other features we innovated many years ago include lower necklines and thicker rubber in the legs and hips to help float the largest bones and muscles in the body. More floatation here means more speed. T1 Wetsuits are not filled with gimmicks, just physics.
