Learn how to make a baby sock the traditional way--on four needles--from the cuff all the way to the toe, learning skills transferable to adult socks. Participants in the course should be comfortable knitting in the round, knitting, and purling and have some experience using double-pointed needles (even if just at the top of a hat). You will learn:
- the basics of sock construction
- how to turn a heel
- decreases (SSK & k2tog)
- how to graft the toe (Kitchener stitch)
The pattern is included in the price of this class. You will need a small amount of double-knitting weight yarn, 2.75 mm double-point needles, and a darning needle.
